How it works

Set it up once, stay updated everywhere

SensorPull connects seamlessly to the official SensorPush cloud API. If you already have SensorPush sensors, you are only minutes away from viewing your data on all your Apple devices. If you are starting fresh, a sensor and a G1 Gateway are all you need.

1

Set up your SensorPush hardware

Place your sensors where you need them — a greenhouse, wine cellar, humidor, freezer, nursery or crawl space — and connect your G1 Gateway to push readings to the cloud.

2

Link your SensorPush account once, use it everywhere

Sign in securely through SensorPush's own login page directly inside the app. SensorPull never sees or stores your username or password. Once linked, SensorPull automatically stays signed in across all your devices using the same Apple account. Your reading history caches directly to your device so your charts keep working offline.

3

Choose your view

Ask Siri, run the native iOS app, watchOS app or macOS menu bar app, add widgets to your Desktop, Home and Lock Screens, and set up complications on your Apple Watch.

Features

A premium, ecosystem-wide tracking experience

Enjoy full visibility into your climate data with native features optimized for every Apple screen.

Native & standalone Apple Watch app

Leave your iPhone behind without losing your data. SensorPull for Apple Watch is fully independent, letting you authenticate directly from your wrist. Add high-utility complications to any watch face—including corner layouts—for instant updates at a glance.

Zero-friction Siri integration

Get hands-free climate updates from across the room, or on your drive home via CarPlay. Just ask Siri for a specific sensor and receive a natural, detailed spoken response detailing the current value, reading trends, and the exact timestamp of the last measurement.

Live menu bar monitoring on Mac

Keep tabs on your environment without disrupting your workspace. Your primary sensor readings update on their own and stay persistently visible directly in your menu bar. Look up beside your clock for a quick real-time overview, or click to open your full dashboard, charts, and raw data.

Powerful macOS Shortcuts & automations

SensorPull's native actions integrate directly inside the macOS Shortcuts app. Seamlessly funnel your live climate readings into your existing desktop automation workflows, script smart home updates, or build your own custom environmental scripts.

Deep historical charts & insights

Never lose your climate history. Analyze temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dew point, and VPD across hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly timelines—even when you are offline.

Your trends, color coded

Every temperature reading carries a colored arrow showing which way it is heading — red for rising, blue for falling, green for holding steady. Timestamps turn red when a reading is more than five minutes old, so you can always tell how recent your data is.

Power-user data exports

Take full control of your climate tracking. Open any sensor data log as a raw spreadsheet directly inside the app, or export your full history as a standard CSV file to analyze in Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or your preferred data science tools.

Sign in once, use everywhere

Link your SensorPush account on one device and SensorPull automatically stays signed in across all your other devices using the same Apple account. Your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac are ready to go without signing in again.

Glanceable Home & Lock Screen widgets

Customizable widgets in multiple sizes — small, medium, large, and extra-large — plus Lock Screen complications in inline, circular, and rectangular styles. Configure separate widgets for different environments so your nursery, wine cellar, and greenhouse data each have a dedicated space.

Privacy by design

Your environmental data is your business. SensorPull operates with absolute privacy: no user tracking, zero advertisements, and no third-party telemetry. Authentication is handled directly via SensorPush's own secure login page, meaning SensorPull never sees or stores your password.

A Note About Widgets

Apple limits background refresh schedules to conserve device battery, capping updates at roughly 40 to 70 times per day — about every 15 to 60 minutes. Because of this system limitation, widgets can occasionally display delayed readings.

For guaranteed real-time data, open the SensorPull app directly or glance at the live Mac menu bar.

The Hardware

Start here, or expand your setup

SensorPush makes excellent hardware—accurate, long-lasting, free of monthly fees, and built with an open API that made SensorPull possible. To use this app, you need at least one sensor and a G1 WiFi Gateway. The gateway connects your hardware to the internet so your phone, Watch, and Mac can fetch data from anywhere.

Questions

Frequently asked

The things people usually want to know before installing SensorPull.

Can I see SensorPush sensors on my Apple Watch?

Yes. SensorPull is a native Apple Watch app for SensorPush sensors, and it runs on its own — you can sign in directly on the Watch and leave your iPhone behind. It adds complications for any watch face, including corner, circular, rectangular and inline styles, so a sensor reading can live permanently on your face.

Can I add SensorPush sensors to my Home Screen as a widget?

Yes. SensorPull adds Home Screen widgets in small, medium, large and extra-large sizes, plus Lock Screen widgets in inline, circular and rectangular styles. Every widget is configurable, so you choose exactly which sensors each one displays. On iOS 26 or later the same widgets also appear in CarPlay.

Can I monitor SensorPush sensors on a Mac?

Yes. SensorPull is a native macOS app that lives in the menu bar, so your current temperature stays visible in the corner of the screen while you work — no browser tab, and no window to keep open. Click it for the full readings, charts and history.

Its native actions also integrate directly inside the macOS Shortcuts app, so you can funnel live climate readings into your existing desktop automation workflows.

Can I ask Siri for my SensorPush readings?

Yes. SensorPull adds Siri support through App Shortcuts. Ask something like "What's the greenhouse temperature in SensorPull" and Siri answers out loud with the current reading, which way it is trending, and how recently it was measured. It works on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and in CarPlay.

Do I need a SensorPush G1 Gateway?

Yes. SensorPull reads your data through the SensorPush cloud API, and a G1 WiFi Gateway is what sends your sensors' readings there. Without a gateway your sensors only communicate over Bluetooth to a phone that is physically nearby, and there is nothing for SensorPull to fetch.

It is a one-off purchase with no monthly fee, and one gateway covers all your sensors. See the G1 and the sensor range.

Will I lose my history if I start using SensorPull?

No. SensorPull downloads your reading history from your SensorPush account and keeps it on your device, going back as far as your account does. Nothing is left behind, and because the history is stored locally your charts keep working with no signal.

Your data is never removed from SensorPush either — both apps can be used side by side.

Why is my widget showing an older reading than the app?

Apple limits background refresh schedules to conserve device battery, capping updates at roughly 40 to 70 times per day — about every 15 to 60 minutes. Because of this system limitation, widgets can occasionally display delayed readings. It applies to every widget on iOS, not just SensorPull's.

For guaranteed up-to-date data, open the SensorPull app directly or glance at the live Mac menu bar.

Can I export SensorPush data to CSV?

Yes. Any sensor's full history can be exported as a CSV file for Numbers, Excel or anything else you use. You can also browse the individual measurements as a spreadsheet inside the app, without exporting anything.

How much does SensorPull cost?

SensorPull is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no SensorPull account to create — you sign in with the SensorPush account you already have.

Is SensorPull made by SensorPush?

No. SensorPull is an independent app built by a SensorPush user who wanted a Mac menu bar app, a Watch app, Siri integration and widgets for hardware he already had. It is published with SensorPush's permission and uses their official developer API, but it is not operated by SensorPush, and SensorPush provides no support for it.

SensorPush is a trademark of Cousins & Sears LLC. SensorPull is a complementary app, not a replacement — your sensors, gateway and account remain entirely theirs.

What data does SensorPull collect about me?

None. SensorPull has no servers of its own, contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs, and its developer receives no data from you whatsoever. Your sign-in tokens stay in the device keychain and your readings stay on your device. Full details are in the privacy policy.
